FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do i record a video of my montage?

With OS X Yosemite you can record directly from your iPad using a Lightning to USB cable – the same cable used for syncing. Open QuickTime Player and then select New Movie Recording. Make sure the Movie Inspector panel is open so you can see which source it's looking for. As you start generating live montage in Imajjio, the iPad should show up in the Inspector as a camera, and the Movie Recording window should open, showing your iPad screen. From there, record and save as usual.

How can I save or share a screen shot?

If you have an image mix on your iPad screen that you like, you can save it using the built-in screenshot capture feature of iOS. Simultaneously press the Home and Power buttons on your iPad, and the current screen contents will be saved to your Camera Roll. [more to come]

how can i show imajjio on my TV?

Connect to your HDTV using AirPlay or an HDMI cable using an HDMI adapter from Apple. With these, only the image content from your montage will display on the screen. The tools and annotations will show only on the iPad. Select the image aspect ratio you prefer, using the control at the bottom of the loop strip:  4:3 or 16:9.

CAN I USE VIDEO FILES AS SOURCES IN A LOOP?

Sounds like fun, but Imajjio works only with still images.
